The main technical parameters of the manipulator usually include the following seven:

(2) Resolution

(3) Precision

(4) Repeat positioning accuracy

(5) Scope of work

(6) Carrying capacity

(7) Maximum speed


The repetitive positioning accuracy of the technical parameters of the manipulator is the statistical data about the accuracy.

Even if any manipulator is in the same environment, the same condition, the same action, and the same command, the position of each action cannot be exactly the same. For example, the test result of the Manipulator Institute of University of Science and Technology Beijing is: It is repeated 10 times at a speed of mm/s, and the repeatability is ±0.04 mm.

As shown in the figure above, the repeat positioning accuracy refers to the deviation of the average value of each different position. If the repeat positioning accuracy is +0.2 mm, it means that the stop points of all the action positions are within 0.2 mm from the left to the right of the center. When testing the repetitive positioning accuracy of the manipulator, the more repeated trials at different speeds and different orientations, the more accurate the evaluation of the repetitive positioning accuracy will be.

Because the repeat positioning accuracy is not affected by changes in the working load, the index repeat positioning accuracy is usually used as an important indicator to measure the level of the industrial manipulator in the teaching-reproduction method.



When the robot is calibrated to repeat positioning accuracy, the number of tests, the load applied during the test and the posture of the arm are generally given at the same time.
