The accuracy of the manipulator mainly depends on mechanical errors, control algorithm errors and resolution system errors.

(1) Mechanical error


Mainly caused by transmission errors, joint gaps and the flexibility of the linkage mechanism. Transmission errors are caused by gear tooth errors, pitch errors, etc.; joint gaps are caused by bearing gaps at the joints, harmonic backlash, etc.; the flexibility of the linkage mechanism changes with the change of the manipulator position and load.
